Kindergarten
The kindergarten class has children ages five to six years old. The curriculum of reading, phonics, math, science, geography, art and music strives to challenge each student's enthusiasm for learning. Students are required to complete daily written assignments and weekly homework. The kindergarten class also completes interesting learning units on the solar system, plants, animals, and ocean life, which helps them to become more aware of the world they live in.
Building social skills, self confidence, self-respect, and respect for others; are important goals we try to achieve. Highlights of the school year include monthly educational field trips, celebrating the 100th day of school, and preparing for graduation in their caps and gowns.
